A gorgeous, rich almost full-bodied Californian Pinot Noir with grapes grown in the winery's Escolle and Stone Corral vineyards. Aromas of tart cherry, fresh earth and spice. The wine was aged 11 months in French oak barrels. Pair with veal.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal chops, rosemary lamb, sautéed tenderloin roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Ross 2015 is a dry, expressive Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County, California. Wine grapes for this PN are sourced from the Escolle and Stone Corral vineyards, with the majority of the fruit coming from Escolle. Look for tart cherry flavours, earthy florals and a savoury herb finish. The wine also spent 11 months in French oak barrels. Pair with a roast leg of lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
