Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Artemis (2014) is an elegant, classic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley wine region. Rich, luscious and medium-plus bodied with velvet layers of fleshy blackberries, nuances of smoke, earthy florals and smoked meat. Named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, Artemis pair this rich red blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% in Merlot and Malbec with a rare rib steak. Elegant, classic Californian red wine. One of the cult classics that collectors chase through the forest of liquor store aisles. Rich, luscious and full-bodied with velvet layers of fleshy blackberries to caress your tongue and senses. Lovely nuances of smoke, forest floor and bacon. Racy, chewy and satisfying. Drink now and for the next five years.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: pepper steaks, smoky ribs, hard cheese, braised pork shanks.

Reviews and Ratings

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Artemis 2015 is a full-bodied red blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. Look for blackberry, blueberry and plummy flavours on the palate. This is a muscular, tannic red with great acidity. Decant and drink now or hold in cellar for five years. - Community Wine Reviews
