Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Produced from biodynamically grown, organic grapes, Sperling Vineyards Market White 2018 is a light and lovely (10.6% abv) vegan-friendly blend of 45% Bacchus, 45% Pinot Blanc with the balance in Riesling sourced from grapes averaging 30 years of age from the winery’s estate vineyard in Kelowna, British Columbia. On the nose and palate the wine is elegant and not overly fragrant, but enticing with fresh melon, pear, lemon meringue and white pepper aromas and flavours balanced with spot-on acidity, and a hint of mineral and flint on the finish. A harmonious, unoaked white wine produced by renown winemakers Ann Sperling and Rickard Branby. Tasted February 2022.
This is a great all-around white wine from Sperling Winery. Market White 2018 is a fresh and juicy blend of 45% Bacchus, 45% Pinot Blanc and 10% Riesling, just barely dry with ripe golden apple, melon and sweet spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy chilled on its own or pair with seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
