Mild lovely lilies and white florals with rosewater, lychee and baking spice on the nose. Love this. More. Medium-bodied, mouth-watering. Bring me Asian, spicy, curry, and I'll meet you more than half way with this wine.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: lighter-flavoured sea-food dishes, Asian dishes, pork tenderloin, curried rice, Panko-crusted chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A BC Gewurtz from the Okanagan Valley, with a pretty floral/lychee nose and a palate that shows delicious bright tropical fruit, rose and lychee. Off-dry luscious palate with a long floral.lychee finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a text book Guwurztraminer from the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. A bouquet of aromas including rose petals, lychee, citrus and sweet spices. The palate is clean, medium-bodied with apricot, honey, and Asian pear(?). Such a beautiful wine from an excellent wine crafter Ann Sperling. Bring on the Thai cuisine or Indian food. Serve well chilled.
Tasted: June 2015
The grapes for this aromatic BC white wine are harvested as late in the season as possible. Flavour people! Only 130 cases made. Time to cry. These vines are planted in the coolest part of the vineyard so that they mature slowly. The vines are farmed using organic and biodynamic practices. Winemaker Ann Sperling is leader in this type of viticulture and was selected as Winemaker of the Year at the 2004 Ontario Wine Awards. The 2013 vintage of her Gewurztraminer is as good as ever. - Community Wine Reviews
