A lovely, vibrant Ontario sparkling made in a juicy, fruity Prosecco-style in honour of the Speck brothers' grandmother who was an Italian New Yorker. Aromas of fresh white peach and pear. Perfect as an aperitif or companion to seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice and fluffy. Medium billowing bubbles. Lazzara Bianco Secco has been done in a winemaking style similar to prosecco, in the charmat method as an homage to their Italian ancestry. From The Speck Brothers’ wine team, this Ontario V.Q.A. sparkler has a lingering fluffy mousse, showing a bouquet of cantaloupe, ripe pears and white peaches. Flavours are delicate with pink lady apples, citrus and lip smacking acidity. Soft with a light, fruity finish. Not too sweet, but with a marmalade infused finish. Perfect for toasting with family, over a zoom call, or at a table with turkey during a holiday gathering with loved ones. Enjoy! - tasted November 2020
Trent Mayers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A fresh Ontario sparkling made as an homage to Prosecco by the Speck Brothers of Henry of Pelham and named after their great grandmother. Light bodied and flavours of lemon, Granny Smith apple, lime and grapefruit peel predominate with a long finish. It would match nicely with East Asian cuisine or charcuterie.
