Love this wine! Aromas of Earl grey tea and clementine. So savoury and juicy. Pair with braised meats.

Vidal Skin Fermented Orange Wine food pairings: fresh and bloomy rind cheeses, white bean spreads, pasta with cream sauce, white finned fish and roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Consistently a great example of skin fermented white (or orange) wines in Ontario. Aromas of bergamot, lemon-lime, and a hint of an herbaceous note. Medium bodied with some tea-like tannins, medium+ acidity, and lots of orange and lemon flavours on the palate, and an herbaceous finish. Enjoy with salty cheeses and charcuterie.
Vidal Orange Wine 2019 is produced from estate-grown grapes and is a skin-fermented white wine. Love the floral aromas of bergamot, fine herbs and zesty lemon-lime citrus. Dry, medium-bodied with tea-like tannins and lots of honeyed orange and lemon flavours with a kiss of fine herbs on the palate. This is Ann Sperling's sixth orange wine at Southbrook. Very sophisticated. Chill and enjoy with creamy wash-rind cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
