Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

What an interesting combination of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The nose rises to its Sauvignon Blanc beginnings with subtle green, grassy tones. The palate is a bit richer and fruitier than the nose would suggest thanks to the Pinot Noir. Nicely balanced. Substantial finish. This one is crying out for cedar planked salmon. Excellent value. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Sauvignon Blanc-based rose with a little Pinot Noir to achieve the pretty shade of pink. Certainly Savvy on the nose, quite vegetal with notes of lemon, cherry, and red fruit in the background. Crisp and fresh, extra dry, and enjoyably light in body. This intriguing pink will do nicely with a wide range of salads, especially those with seafood or goat cheese.
A Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir rosé from Marlborough, South Island, Snapper Rock 2018 is a great value (under $16) rosé with fresh tropical fruit, raspberry and cherry fruit flavours on the palate wrapped up in lime-zest acidity. Pair with grilled salmon or fresh avocado stuffed with freshly steamed shrimp and a squeeze of lemon juice. - Community Wine Reviews
