Reviews and Ratings

Derek rated this wine as 88/100
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted May 28th 2017. Very dark plum red colour. Aromas are hard to pick up tried swirling a few times but can not seem to pick up any aroma. If anything it is very subtle plum. On the palate a nice blackberry red plum combination going on. Soft tobacco sweet tannin. Finishes with blackberry and pencil shavings. A nice flavourful wine easy drinking and medium to long after taste. BBQ wine Aussie Style. Bacon and Maple syrup BBQ sauce match. Smooth tasting.
From the Terra Rossa soils of Coonawarra, this Cabernet Sauvignon is very approachable. Sister's Run, Old Testament (2014) is a soft-tannin, juicy and savoury Cabernet Sauvignon -- a real crowd pleaser with rich blackberry and plums on the palate, spicy on the finish. Also approachable price wise. - Community Wine Reviews
