Reviews and Ratings

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Savory tomato notes prominent on the nose, typical of the hot vintage that was 2013. Meaty and persistent, the savory aspect gives it up for black fruit on the finish. Great value, a no-brainer to take to dinner.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Silver Bay Pinot Noir 2013 is a great find under $15. It features nice aromas of cherry and spice. Tasted November 2016 (89/100)
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Earthy, nice cedar and oak aromas, cherry and strawberry. Bright flavours including tart cherry and strawberry again. Light but present tannins. Nice acidity. Bright and easy drinking. A great value pinot from Niagara.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Pinot is a great value wine! Earthy, dried cherries, some spice and vanilla on the nose. A good balance of fruit, acidity and some tannins make this a great sipping wine or match for food. Smoked salmon, grilled chicken, salty cheeses. @SilverBayWine
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A light red with a sweet cherry aroma and taste. Easy to drink and would pair well with a barbequed salmon or tuna steak.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Soft, fruity, and friendly Pinot noir from Niagara. Raspberry and pomegranate, a touch of bell pepper and cotton candy. Flavour is more rasberry cran with a touch of herb.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A lovely, simple, easy-drinking Niagara pinot noir at a fantastic price. Pull this one out any time for friends and family!
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Light rudy, verging on pink. Aromatic cherry and earthiness, strawberry notes. Lighter bodied, with replays of the nose of cherry and strawberry. Not overly complex, but pleasant with medium acidity. Very drinkable for the price.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Clear light garnet red colour, with tart cherry, red currant and earthy aromas. Repeated on the palate, which develops a nice mocha touch after decanting. Light-bodied, short cherry finish.
