Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A medium-bodied Grenanche varietal from the Barossa Valley, Australia. Cherry and spice aromas with the oak and aging influence adding leather to the palate. Well-balanced and smooth leading to an medium, herbal finish. Serve with roast or BBq red meats or a smoked meat charcuterie.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A pretty Aussie Grenache with wild and engaging aromas of mint, cherry, and lavender. Ripe and balanced with mouthwatering acidity, medium body, and gentle tannins. So interesting and enjoyable, and offered at a great price point. Try with grilled sausages, thin crust pizza, or beer can chicken.
Shanahans Strength In Gentleness 2017 is produced from 100% Grenache from 100 year old vines in the Barossa valley. Vegan-friendly with lots of ripe cherry, meaty and spicy flavours on the palate. Great value under $20. Pair with grilled cauliflower steaks. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
