Produced from old-vines Zinfandel, this is a full-bodied juicy, smooth red dry with wild strawberry and bright red berry compote flavours silky on the palate, kissed with white peppers spice and savoury herb finish. Enjoy now and for the next three years. Pair with barbeque ribs and chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely and smooth. Aromas of blackberry, raspberry, oak and white pepper. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with bright acidity, ripe berry flavours and more white pepper and leather. Some oaky smoke carries through on the finish. Enjoy with BBQ pork or ribs.
Seghesio 2017 Zinfandel is a full-bodied, juicy and supple red with ripe raspberry, strawberry compote, anise, cinnamon spice and fresh herb flavours on the palate with toasty oak on the finish. One of the best California Zins for the money. Wine grapes are sourced from the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Vineyards in Sonoma. Enjoy now and for the next three years. Pair with gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
