Natalie's Score: 92/100

Bold aromas of black fruit and tar on the nose, with full-bodied layers of blackberries and dark spices on the palate. Nicely crafted, but not for the timid. This Cabernet also has a dash of Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot in the blend for extra dimension and nuance. Juicy and mouthwatering. Great balance and nice finish. Great dinner party wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef stew with winter vegetables, pork tenderloin, brisket.

Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Beautiful ruby colour, lively and deep; the bouquet is typical, clean, complex and very intense, with strong hints of fresh red fruits and of wild cherry preserve, rounded off by notes of vanilla. The flavour is warm, well-defined and balanced, with an elegant spicy (black pepper), toasty aftertaste. But what sets it apart is its personality which is displayed in its striking elegance and fine bouquet and balance, its sapidity and length of flavour.
