This robust, smooth, supple Californian red wine is a blend of about one quarter Merlot, then descending amount of Malbec, Syrah, Zinfandel, Sauzao, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for the 2013 vintage. Select parcels from vineyards in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara County and Dry Creek were picked blended separately to preserve their unique character. The wine was aged in 30% new French oak barrels for 16 months before blending. It offers enticing aromas of fleshy blackberries and plums, cedar forest and black cherry. This is a collaboration between one of the world's most famous tattoo artists, Scott Campbell, and winemaker, Clay Brock, who grew up in Napa Valley and is also Director of Winemaking at Wild Horse Winery & Vineyards. This particular wine is named after Scott's famous SAVED tattoo studio in Brooklyn New York and his work is etched on the bottle's front label. This wine finishes with luscious berry flavour. Pair with a pepper steak or roast beef.

Food pairings: pepper steak, roast beef, sausage cassoulet.
