This zesty Italian white wine is fresh, clean and crisp with white peach notes. Medium-bodied with lime lift on the finish. Great aperitif. Try this medium-bodied white wine with balsamic grilled radicchio, basil pesto or zucchini and red onion frittata.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: pasta in a garlic sauce, avocado and papaya salad, vegetable tempura.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Most people know Santa Margharita's Valdadige PG. Allow me to compare them. This PG has fuller flavours (on the lighter Italian spectrum), nicer aromatics, and a touch less crisp. From every aspect a nicer wine. Worth the price for those who like lighter crisper whites.
From the Alto Adige-Trentino wine region Santa Margherita Impronta Del Fondatore (2016) is a medium-bodied clean, crisp and zesty Pinot Grigio. Pale lemon-green in the glass, this is a great summer sipper -- elegant, refreshing and food friendly as well. - Community Wine Reviews
