Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Santa Ema's 60/40 is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot sourced from Isla de Maipo in the middle of the Maipo Valley, Chile. Nestled between the Andes Mountain range and the Pacific Ocean, this region benefits from the influence of both the mountains and the ocean to produce fresh and fruity wines perfectly suited for casual enjoyment. The 2014 60/40 displays a deep ruby colour with a purple hue, the nose shows ripe dark fruits, blackberry, prunes, violet, and scorched earth. A soft mouthfeel with moderate acidity and subtle tannins make this well suited for enjoying with a wide range of dishes including grilled pork, BBQ chicken, or enjoy with mild Asian cuisine like beef and broccoli. Tasted March 2017. 87+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
