A juicy cherry-berry Chilean Pinot Noir. Medium-bodied and smooth with sweet cherry flavours. It's hard to get pinot at this price. Pair with grilled chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Is Leyda Valley the new "it terroir" for cool climate Pinot? I think so! Smokey, flinty minerality and cherry dominate the nose. Give it a swirl and few minutes and that flint bounces right off though. The palate is smooth with mouthwatering acidity and clean developed cherry fruit and spice. A terrific value for a new world pinot with loads of mineral character! Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa - @tastingscru hefe somm - bepsoketastings.ca
The vines for this Pinot Noir are planted on small slopes in the Coastal Mountains where the winery has more than 140 years of history. Santa Carolina's vines are among the most ancient in Chile and planted only 8 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean in the cool climate Leyda Valley. Juicy sweet strawberries on the finish. - Community Wine Reviews
