Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Year after year, Santa Carolina offers excellent quality wine. Once again, the Reserva de Familia Carmenère 2015 adds up to the great wine making of Santa Carolina. Intense aromas of black plum, mission fig, white pepper, green peppercorn, slate, sweet tobacco and oak. Harvested in the Rapel Valley in Chile, this full-bodied wine offers spice notes and a herbal finish. Palate, black plum, cherry, green bell pepper, salt, spice dark chocolate and oak. Enjoy!
From the Rapel Valley Wine Region, Santa Carolina Reserva De Familia 2015 is a savoury, juicy and robust Carmenère loaded with fleshy dark fruit, toasty oak, tar and smoke. some burnt orange undertones. Delicious for sure, but needs about two years in cellar to show its best. - Community Wine Reviews
