This Chardonnay Gran Reserva from Santa Alicia De Los Andes is a classic, vibrant and dry Chilean Chardonnay with ripe stone fruit, soft lemon, vanilla and oak spice flavours on the palate. The key is not to overchill it, as it is fairly full-bodied and flavourful. Pair it with roast turkey.

Chardonnay food pairings: chicken Alfredo, pork tenderloin, beef bourguignon, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Santa Alicia, Gran Reserva de Los Andes 2017 Chardonnay, from the Maipo Valley in Chile, reveals dense tropical fruit aromas of pineapple, yellow apple, passion fruit, meyer lemon, citrus blossom, salt and pie crust. Full-bodied with a medium finish, this Chilean shows flavors of apricot, lemon, pineapple, salt and almond. Enjoy.
Santa Alicia De Los Andes 2017 is a Gran Reserva, dry, rich and full-bodied Chardonnay produced from wine grapes sourced from the Maipo Valley wine region. Look for tropical fruit flavours with ripe peach, lemon zest, vanilla and toasty oak spic flavours on the palate. Perfect for roasted chicken or turkey. Do not overchill. - Community Wine Reviews
