This 20-year-old tawny port is absolutely glorious. Santa's not getting cookies and milk this year ;) Aromas of toasted almond, toffee and smoke. So lovely. This wine is aged in the winery's centuries' old cellars for an average of twenty (different vintages in the blend). Finishes with hints of dry honey, nuts and spices.

Port food pairings: fruitcake, blue cheeses, nut pies.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Bright tawny/coral colour with wonderful aromas of toffee, orange rind and smoke. Buttery toffee wraps your tongue with luxurious flavour layers of dried apricots, honey, nuts, spices and vanilla. Develops beautifully through an unctuous, satiny mouthfeel that lingers through the very fine finish. I'm definitely going to talk to Santa about this one!

Lovely 20-year-old Tawny Port from the Douro wine region. Sandeman Tawny is rich, creamy with nut flavours. This wine is aged in the winery's centuries' old cellars. - Community Wine Reviews
