Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous balance, medium plus bodied, inky, dry, ripe blackberry, black cherry, dried sage. Fantastic integration and so smooth. Enjoyed paired with sausage infused home - made fresh tomato and fresh herb spaghetti topped with parmesan reggiano. Tasting great at present. Tasted 2012 in August 2017. 91 points. BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Chianti with cinnamon spice and everything nice! Lovely cherry and dried sage notes are showcased in the aromas as well. The palate shows tart cherry and dried herbs (sage & thyme). Acidity and tannins a superbly balanced, and enticingly high. The finish is long and mouthwatering. Pair with chunky beef ragu. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Rustic would be the word for this one. A bit of mint on the nose. Grippy tannins. Chalky mouth feel. Best enjoyed with food- grilled meat, sausage, cheese.
