Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Another lovely low-yield wine from Sage Hills Vineyard produced from organically-grown 100% Gewurztraminer wine grapes hand-harvested from three sites of the Sage Hills Estate Vineyard and Angela’s Vineyard. The wine is a graceful aromatic balance of lychee fruit, rose petals and subtle minerality on the nose. Dry, crisp with soft orange, honey, lychee and light rosewater flavours, finishing crisp, polished with a clean minerality on the palate and good acidity for food. Although it can easily be had on it own, chill and enjoy it with a pork tenderloin Wellington. Low yield of 1.75 tones per acre with only 100 cases produced.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very pretty expression of Gewurztraminer starting to show a bit of maturity. Aromas of rose and lychee with hints of orange and a touch of a petrol note. Medium bodied, soft and luscious on the palate, with rounded orange and citrus notes with a hint of a tart note (reminding me a little of orange marmalade). Tasting this in 2021, I would drink this now or over the next two years.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
