Natalie's Score: 91/100

A balanced wine and a great value. This is mostly cabernet sauvignon with some merlot and zinfandel grapes in the blend. Dark fruit aromas are wrapped in toasty oak. Nice symmetry and balance with full-bodied weight. Gets my vote! Finished with dried herbs an dark fruit. Pair with roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin, hodge-podge, avocado and papaya salad, beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied red is deep ruby colour with aromas and flavours of black cherry, black berry, bakers chocolate, toasted oak, vanilla, tar, leather, graphite. Rich tannins and medium+ acidity sing in harmony. This Cab is drinking nicely now but will reward over the next 5 years. The length is long on a fruit driven finish. Aged in French and American oak. Blended with some Merlot and Malbec. Traditional Cab pairings include grilled steak, good cuts of beef, hearty beef stew.
