Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of lemon, pear, and a hint of peach. Medium acidity, with lots of lemon and pear on the palate. Medium + finish. Enjoy with summer dishes, salads or light white fish, or as a patio sipper. I also love the abundance of information on the label to educate us about the wine. Made from Clone 52 first planted in 1997, aged in 90% stainless steel, and 10% old French oak. The vines were planted on sandy clay loam, with limestone and granite rock.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Interesting Pinot Grigio out of BC’s Okanagan. Smokey aromas on first nose- leading to lemon, peach and notes. Toasted almond and hint of vanilla on the finish. Pair with grilled halibut and mango salsa. Tasted: July 2017.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A very aromatic Pinot Grigio from the Similkameen Valley. White stone fruit; predominantly peach with some floral notes. Flavours of peach with a bit of citrus running through it. 13.9% alcohol so there is some weight to this wine. Medium acidity with a long flavourful finish. Beautiful on its own or would pair well with fish tacos dressed with a peach salsa. A well made, well balanced Canadian Pinot Grigio - well done Rust Wine Co. Tasted July 26, 2018
