Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I love how informative Rust wine labels are. They provide us with so much information on the grapes, where they were planted and harvested, fermentation method, acidity, sugar, and alcohol levels. This rose is 100% Merlot, and has a lot more weight than some other rose wines. On the nose there are hints of ripe strawberry, watermelon, and rhubarb with a hint of tart orange plum. Medium bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, and ripe, almost jammy fruit. This wine almost drinks like a red wine, meaning it would be perfect with anything you have on the grill this spring, especially ribs, grilled chicken or pork tenderloin.
