Reviews and Ratings

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This elegant Bordeaux blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and Cab Franc is a definite winner. Generous fruit aromas of both red and black fruit and some earthiness. Cherry and cassis flavours are complemented with notes of minerality and mild herbs on the taste, through to the finish. Well balanced and very enjoyable.
A new world wine in an old world style. The blend is two-thirds Merlot, the balance in Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby-red with a lovely raspberry, mocha, fruitcake spice nose and on the palate the wine is full-bodied, plush and finishes smoky (aged almost two years in 80% new French barrels) and long on the palate. Tannins are silky and fine-grained. Can cellar for a few years and will be even better. - Community Wine Reviews
