Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A refreshing Pinot Grigio from Italy's friuli DOC. Fragrant with sage and white flowers, followed by a flavourful palate giving notes of white peach, pineapple, tropical fruit and sage in a crisp, balanced mouthfeel. Perfect for a chicken salad. I'll definitely buy this again.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A definite crowd pleaser. Light, vibrant, and very versatile. Aromas of white peach, lemon-lime and pear, with a hint or orange blossom. Light bodied, bright acidity, with a clean and crisp citrusy finish. Enjoy with light appetizers, calamari, or white fish dishes.
Ruffino Il Ducale 2018 Pinot Grigio is a bright and refreshing PG from the Friuli DOC. Fragrant, vibrant and very versatile. Fresh on the nose with orange blossoms, white peach, lemon-lime and pear aromas, the wine is bone-dry, light bodied with lime-lemon zest, fresh pear and dried fine herb flavours on the palate. Pour with fine herb gnocchi in a lemon butter sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
