Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Alex: This Bulgarian Cabernet Sauvignon is very soft and approachable, almost Californian in style, but with a restrained minerality on the palate that takes you back to the olde garde. Sweet smelling nose of baked cassis and mint, with vanilla and a touch of brambles in cherry liqueur. The palate is easy-drinking and caressing, with cassis jam amidst clove and rootbark. Low acidity and modest length, but enjoyable and accurately priced. 84 pts

Priya: Smells like raspberry jam, sweet, rich and concentrated with just a hint of dustiness. The dryness comes as a bit of a surprise to me, although it's followed by a bit of fruit. 83 pts
This Bulgarian red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It was oak aged. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
