Firm tannic grip on this full-bodied Spanish red wine. This wine was matured for 12 months in American oak barrels as well as fine grain French oak from Allier and Nevers, with another 12 months aging in bottle before release.

Reviews and Ratings

WineArtist WSET rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I was surprised to see this well price Priorat in my local LCBO. Unfortunately, as this region has become very "in" for the "insider" wine sect, too often the prices do not often represent good value. Having said that, this baby is a superb value at $18.95. If you plan to imbibe soon, I implore you to decant or give it a one-hour breather to loosen up its tightness. Certainly serve robust red meats with this beast. Rotllan is da man/ woman!!!
This Spanish red wine is a blend of 40% Garnacha, 40% Carinena and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The wine is then matured in American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
