From Nosio S.P.A, Trento, Alto Adige Trentino wine region, Rotari is produced in metodo classico. The high altitude breezes, diverse temperatures and the mineral-laden mountains to the north, as well as the Mediterranean influences of Lake Garda to the south create the terroir for the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes for these sparkling wines. Vineyards are located on the hills along the Adige Valley at 1,150 to 2,000 feet above sea level giving this zesty bubble ripe yellow apple, pear, sun-kissed white florals, citrus zest and delicate yeasty notes on an elegant and persistent perlage. Chill and enjoy it on its own or with seafood canapes.

Food pairings: brunch dishes, quiche, fried chicken, fish and chips.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
