Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A pleasant and aromatic mead Rosewood Estates Winery. Crafted from fermented honey produced by bees on site, this fine beverage combines notes of honey with mint, menthol, a slight nutty character, and some lovely floral touches. Bright acidity cuts the sweetness and lends very good balance. Honey and mint through the finish. A great accompaniment to charcuterie and desserts.
Rosewood Mead Royale 2017 is a floral and fruity, medium-sweet honey wine with dried herbs, flowers, nut and ginger spice aromas on the nose. The mead is barrel-aged in French oak barrels. Chill and enjoy on its own or pair with an almond or custard tarte. The Roman family have hundreds of beehives across the Niagara Escarpment and the Greenbelt. - Community Wine Reviews
