Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This cool climate chardonnay from Oregon is outstanding, delivering memorable aromas and flavours of lime zest, minerality, fresh pears and peaches. Attractive to the eye, add this product of Willamette Valley to your list of wines to try this year.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pale almost clear. This is an impressive wine with pronounced zest and citrus on the nose and palate. Surprisingly silky on the palate for the 14% alcohol. Just a hint of oak in evidence that thankfully does not overpower the freshness of this beautifully balanced wine. Tasted April 2019.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Very fresh, crunchy green apple and lemon with a hint of peach blossom. Oak influence is very subtle and elegant, contributing slight oak nuances. Soft and textured palate despite striking acidity. Peach joins apple and lemon with touches of minerality. A pure, varietal expression, minimal manipulation, and so good for it. Savour with raw oysters.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Aromas are subtle, but together very flavourful. On the nose there is a lot of pear, golden apple, pineapple, amd freshly baked pie crust. Smooth on the palate, with bright acidity, and lots of vibrant ripe orchard and tropical fruit. The finish is long with some warm spice and a slight mineral hint. Enjoy with scallops, shrimp, or other rich seafood dishes.
Roserock 2016 Chardonnay is produced by Domaine Drouhin Oregon. The Chardonnay wine grapes for this medium-plus-bodied, fresh white are sourced from the Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon. Look for ripe white-fleshed stone fruit, lime and lemon zest flavours on this vibrant and crisp Chardonnay. Chill and enjoy now on its own or with herbed grilled chicken breast. - Community Wine Reviews
