Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Notes of black fruit, smoke, vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate offers a nice hint of blood orange. Would pair well with duck breast or turkey with sage dressing.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted April 20th 2017. Colour light pink on the rim and light red in the core. I can see my fingers through the wine. Nice clear colour. Aroma of perfume very pleasing, strawberry, raspberry, cherry classic Pinot aromas. On the palate good red fruit, soft tannins. Most of the flavour and taste is experienced at the front and middle of the tongue. I can feel a nice sensation on the upper lip between lip and teeth. The finish lingers with spice notes, fruit and good mouth feel. I have liked this wine every time I try it. It delivers a good drinking experience of new world Pinot Noir. I would pair this wine with wild duck or planked salmon.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
