Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon colour. On the nose lots of peach and ripe tropical fruit. Pineapple, pear, honeyed cantaloupe, orange blossoms. Incredibly floral - Honeysuckles, apple and cherry blossoms. Gorgeous aromas. In the mouth the apple flavours come through, loads of crisp minerality and salts. Medium minus acidity absolutely perfectly balanced. Fruity and fresh. Pair with edamame and spicy pad Thai.
Falanghina is an ancient Italian white-wine grape thought to have originally been from Greece. It is also said that Falanghina is the grape variety behind Falernian, the most famous wine of Roman antiquity and the inspiration for Falerno del Massico. Most Falanghina is grown in Campania, in southern Italy. This grape and vines love the volcanic soils around Mount Vesuvius and enjoy a warm Mediterranean climate. Campania's Rocca Del Dragone Falanghina (2015) is a great summer sipper and a great value wine at less than $20. The wine typically shows white floral, melon and mineral notes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
