Another terrific red wine from Woodbridge at an amazingly great price point! This smooth Merlot offers attractive aromas of black plum, cedar and smoke. Full-bodied, smooth and supple. Never boring. Pair with grilled chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

For an inexpensive wine this had layers of aromas and flavours. On the nose; smoke, leather, blackberry and caramel. Smooth tannins balanced nicely with acidity and lots of fruit. Medium body with a medium finish. Great pairing with bbq'd meatballs and sausage rolls. A good inexpensive bbq wine for the patio this summer when you have a large crowd!
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This medium-bodied wine has notes of blackberries and other berries, with a smooth finish. This merlot would pair well with a robust tomato pasta sauce.
