Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A great example of why you should enjoy more Merlot…Robert Mondavi has been producing world-class Merlot for years and this is a great mid-priced (high value) Merlot. Lovely sweet dark fruits with terrific structure. This commands a seared rib-steak with blue cheese. Tasted April 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ever a fan of Robert Mondavi wines, this wine did not disappoint. With a deep red colour, aromas of cherry and spice, this Merlot has a very smooth finish that balances acidity and tannins. A great wine with meat dishes and perhaps a chunk of dark chocolate.

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby, with a nose of ripe plum, cherry/berry fruit, chocolate and some faint herb. Medium full body, with ripe cherry and plum with some green herb in the background, toasty oak is well integrated. Nice structure with fruit, acid and tannins all in harmony. The tannins are fine and present on the long finish. Drink now with a 1/2hour decant or cellar short term. Tasted April 2015
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Black fruit, floral and mocha aromas and flavors with some cinnamon on the palate. Concludes with a soft finish.
