Tart cherries with lots of mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied and smooth. Cries out for food, such as lamb and anything with a tangy or acidic sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2011 Castle Vineyard Pinot Noir shows a dark garnet hue from the grape bunches being well exposed to the sunshine.
The nose is lifted and shows great purity of Pinot Noir character. Enticing aromas of dark cherries and black olives with
a hint of beetroot are evident. The palate on this wine is powerful and rich with fantastic concentration and length. This
is a serious Pinot Noir inspired by the Old World. The palate offers beautiful flavors of black cherries, prunes and black
olive tapenade. The French oak is integrated in a seamless manner in this wine. The 2011 Castle Vineyard Pinot Noir has the concentration, acidity, balance and structure from fine tannins to age gracefully for the next 5 to 8 years.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
