Reviews and Ratings

Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of spicy and sweet cherry cola and vanilla. This is a hearty Pinot Noir at 15.2% alcohol! It’s silky on the tongue with some raspberry cream and burn likely due to the high alcoholic content. Some spice and heat lingers with hints of toast and oak. Pace yourself on this one! Tasted October 2020. Pair with some giggles on a Friday night after a hard week!
River's Edge Barrel Select 2015 Pinot Noir produced from some of the oldest wine grapes found in Elkton, Umpqua Valley, Oregon. Fragrant with smoky cherries, violets and earthy spicy aromas on the nose. A big Pinot Noir (14.8% abv) with ripe dark cherry, raspberry compote, baking spice and toasty oak spice flavours lingering on the palate. Tannins are dusty and dusty. Enjoy with grilled lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews
