Always pretty with lovely honeysuckle and apple blossom notes on this lightly effervescent, medium sweet wine. Perfect for glazed ham, hot curries and spices or as a light after-dinner drink that's low in alcohol. Try it with crème brûlée.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Ricossa Antica Casa Moscato D'asti has intense aromas of apricots, tangerine, honey as well as some floral notes that linger on the finish of good length. It is fruity, has medium body, fine bubbles and good acidity that offsets its sweetness. A definite sipper, but excellent with food - especially spicy Asian foods (low alcohol 5.5% and the acidity and effervescence clean the palate); drink now to 2016. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts - recommended buy. Tasted Feb/13.

Pale silvery straw color. Perfumed aromas of potpourri, candied lemon, herbal lotion, and honeycomb with a silky, fruity sweet medium body and a long, honeyed, caramelized citrus and lilac finish. Rich and delicious. Exceptional. Special Designation: Best Buy. Score: 93. Source: Tastings.com, March 12, 2012
