A zesty, crisp, refreshing Niagara sparkling wine made from the Chardonnay grape. This would be called a blanc de blancs in Champagne (white wine made form white grapes.) Aromas of green apple and freshly baked bread. Enjoy as a chilled aperitif or as a companion to shellfish and seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 100/100 with the following review:

This wine was made from mostly Chardonnay, with a dash of Riesling, to add acidity. It is a Charmat (ie: tank fermented) and has a touch more sugar than a brut. They classify it as an extra dry.
Moderately persistent bubbles, and with a beautiful white hue, it is pleasant and balanced.
Aromas of honey, white flower, nectarine, quince, and pie apple.
The flavours are juicy and the wine is soft. Apple, pear, some slight citrus, and an easygoing finish.
Pair it with tilapia or catfish.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Brioche, and mineraly, wet stone with tropical fruit. Medium-bodied and off-dry.

I'd pair with baked brie with some mango chutney.

If you're looking to branch out from your usual sparkling wine picks, give this one a try!

Mostly chardonnay grapes with a touch of Riesling. Citrus and green apple aromas. Off dry with citrus notes. A nice patio or aperitif wine. Tasted March 11, 2018.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Sparkling Chardonnay from Reif estate. Made from Chardonnay and a small touch of Riesling grapes added. The bouquet is incredibly inviting - Stonefruits forever! Peaches, apricots and yellow plums. Flavours reflect much of the same with white cherry compote and sugar sprinkled grapefruit. Off dry (20g/L) with a sweet ending reflecting some vanilla and honey notes into the fruity, flavourful finish. Pair this with sweet and spicy Thai dishes, mango salad and spring rolls. 87 points - tasted March 11th 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium-bodied, off dry, charmât method Blanc de Blanc non-vintage NV. Balanced. Medium acidity, medium intensity red delicious apple and ripe pear. Paired well with fried wontons. Tasted March 2018. 87 points
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Simple fizz for simple times. Floral aromas dominate the nose while ripe stone fruit, candied orange, and hint fest zesty lemongrass. I find this bubbly to be off-dry, creamy and refreshing. Enjoy with New England crab cakes. Tasted March 2018 by @sommsosa
