Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From the Vina Ravanal Estate, positioned between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountain in the Colchagua Valley, which is recognized for its vineyard covered hills, comes the Ravanal Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2015. An inviting deep purple color brings aromas of blackberry, violets, dark chocolate, with a touch of vanilla and oak. Its flavours express ripe blackberry and tobacco, with a finish of oak and pepper. Acidity and tannins team together to create a fine balanced Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. Body and finish share the same goal to please you. This affordable, well made wine makes a great weekday sipper. Enjoy!

Jay Denney rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Value hunters take note! Grab several of these and tuck them away for times you want a rich , fruit forward and approachable Cab. Plenty of dark fruit, some wood, and a slap of mocha. It leaves as gracefully as it enters,
Ravanal Gran Reserva 2015 is a dry, medium-plus bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley with mocha and dark-berry flavours on the palate. Great value under $20, pair this one with a grilled, Mediterranean-rub flank steak. - Community Wine Reviews
