Reviews and Ratings

From the Rioja wine region, R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Reserva 2011 is a dry, full-bodied Rioja red wine blend of mostly Tempranillo with 20% in Garnacha and 5% each in Graciano and Mazuelo. Aged for nearly six years in very old barrels, the wine is well-structured and beautifully- crafted. Look for ripe dark plum, black olive, tanned leather and balsamic notes on this rich Rioja red balanced with bright acidity on the palate. Drink or cellar to 2030. - Community Wine Reviews
