Stunning seduction! Fleshy cherry liqueur aromas followed up by mixed spices and ripe dark red fruit. This is a robust and complex blend of traditional Veneto grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, with the wine receiving some oak maturation to bring it all together. Giuseppe Quintarelli wines may be enjoyed younger than other wines in this producer's wonderful portfolio. A splash of Amarone deepens and darkens this wine seductively. Full-bodied and as smooth a velvet dress with a satin petticoat. I am undone. But before I faint, top me up will you please?

Reviews and Ratings

Primofiore' translates to "first press. This robust Italian red wine is a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc grapes. Corvina and Cabernet Franc lead in aromatics with dark berries and pepper. Corvinone contributes mouth-watering acidity while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and complexity and balance. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
