Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep, dark and delicious!Aroma of rich dark fruit:, black cherry, blackberry, touch of blackcurrant and vanilla with some milk chocolate. Soft balanced tannins and refreshing acidity with more lovely vanilla and dark fruit on the palate. Tasted 2020; tannins may have relaxed from earlier tastings. Great with Swiss cheese fondue!
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine is bananas good, with lots of tactile blackberry, black plum, and spice notes. The oak is well-integrated, and supports fresh and dried herbs and cocoa nib. Pair with roasted red meats. 91 Points.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Zippy, mouthwatering acidity, ripe pomegranate and blackberry notes, baking spices. Well balanced. Pairs well with roast or grilled red meats. tasted 2013 reserve in Feb 2019. 90 points #goodvalue
Quinta da Rede 2013 is a robust and full-bodied red from the Douro wine region in Portugal. The Portuguese red wine is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grapes. The vines are planted on the steep slopes of the Douro Valley. Rede is at the western, cooler end of the Douro vineyards and it shows in the freshness of black fruits. - Community Wine Reviews
