Love the savouriness of this Brunello Di Montalcino with ripe red cherry, wild mushroom, savoury herbs flavours and smoky on the palate. It's an all Sangiovese wine that matured in a combination of French and Slavonian oak barrels for four years.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: hard cheese, veal piccata, grilled steak, roast leg of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A 100% Sangiovese from Tuscany, the wine presents medium garnet with aromas of soft cherry and mushroom. So well balanced with a long finish. Wonderful! Pair with roasted or grilled red meats.
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful brick colour with a delicate, elegant perfume of sour cherry and potpourri. Mineral palate with floral notes of dried flowers, dried fruit and apricots. A great value Brunello showing typicity of the style without a lofty price tag. Don't miss this one. Try with sage and fennel roasted pork with apples @wrightwineblog
Quercecchio 2014 is a savoury Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region aged for three years in a combination of French and Slavonian oak. Lush and elegant with liquid cherry, savoury herbs flavours, mouth-filling on the palate with a long, dark cherry finish. Excellent Brunello. - Community Wine Reviews
