A classic, beautifully balanced BC Gewurztraminer. Medium-bodied with aromatic notes of white florals, daisies, lilies, baking spice and lychee. Subtle and delicious. Just enough acidity for many dishes like Asian fare, mild to medium curries and spices.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: seared scallops over a bed of butter leaf lettuce & a cucumber, dill & pink grapefruit vinaigrette.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful, crisp and clean. Gewürztraminer typicity. Lychee fruit, orange blossom dominant. Quail's Gate has made an exceptional Okanagan Gewürztraminer. This 2016 is gorgeous. Enjoy with Thai, Asian fusion, or easily on it's own. Tasted May 2017. 90 points.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Delicate rose petal and honey aromas with a flavourful and mouthwatering palate showcasing notes of sweet mandarin orange, honey, rose water and white pepper. Enjoy this flavourful juicy aromatic white with Thai Seafood Curry. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
