Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Golden and juicy, slightly tart, mouthwatering acidity, honey, Asian pear, lemongrass, blood orange. Great value and wonderful for festive occasions as an after dinner sipper. Tasted Dec 2016 - rated 88/100.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

This medium sweet wine has flavours of ripe nectarine, honey, marmalade, and rye bread showing some of its botrytis (10%) complexity. With balanced acidity this fun dessert wine can be paired with lemon meringue pie, or brie and peach chutney.
Drink now or cellar until 2018.
Date tasted: November 2014.
The Hungarian word Szamorodni means "as it grows" and refers to the bunches of fresh and botrytized grapes that are blended in this type of wine. - Community Wine Reviews
