Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous and so well balanced. This lovely icewine is made from Riesling, and has aromas of golden apple, peach, pineapple, and honey. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with mouthwatering acidity for balance and a hint of minerality. Fruit and honey flavours on the palate are rounded and smooth, with a lengthy finish. Everything is in harmony, so lovely. Enjoy after dinner with hard and blue cheeses.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Apple, peach, and honey first and foremost while citrus and tropical fruits back them up. Lusciously sweet but with adequate acidity to bring it into balance. Spot on stylistically. Delectable with charcuterie, especially blue cheeses and spicy cured meats.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An aromatic nose of honey and pear with an underlying note of dried flowers. A very honeyed palate with apricot and peach eventually making their way through. Smooth with a medium finish. Pleasant. Serve with ice wine chocolates. Tasted June 2018. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Pondview, Niagara Peninsula wine region, just the right amount of Riesling Icewine (200ml) to enjoy chilled with a piece of lemon meringue pie or lemon custard tarte. The 2016 vintage is sweet citrus with apple pie, honey and tropical fruit flavours that roll across the palate and finishing long with a lip-smacking acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
