Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Grippy medium tannins, mouthwatering, dry and juicy. Balanced and ready to pair with charcuterie or a spicy sausage. Juicy cherry, raspberry, with a hint of cedar plank. Medium bodied. Accessibly priced. Tasted 2016 vintage in October 2018. 89 points
Poderi Di Luigi's Einaudi 2016 is produced from 100% Dolcetto from the Dogliani, Piedmont wine region. This is a great quality red wine made from the "little sweet one" -- Dolcetto is a delicate, low acid grape that contrasts plum and currant deliciousness with some surprisingly bracing mineral structure from the soils of its home in Piedmont. This Dolcetto is vibrant, juicy with ripe red cherry and blackberry flavours on the palate and a long, honest fruit finish. Drink now and for the next two years. - Community Wine Reviews
