Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Floral and fragrant, crisp and elegant. Crowd pleasing appeal for an accessibly priced white blend. Medium body, mouthwatering acidity. High altitude viticulture has created refreshing high acidity fruit with bright aromatics. Pairs well with seafood dishes, lightly grilled chicken dishes with seasonal veggies, and drinks easily on its own. Tasted 2016 vintage in May 2018. 89 points. #Greatvalue
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 13th, 2018. Colour pale straw. Legs medium plus. Aromas and flavours of, tropical fruit, guava, Mayer lemon, hint of geranium. Taste dry, fruity, light bodied, mouthwatering. Finishes long and mouthwatering. I like this wine because it is easy to drink, refreshing, would pair with Mexican Food.
Torrontés wine grapes for Piattelli Reserve 2016 are sourced from parral vineyards planted in the Cafayate Valley (Salta) in 2009. Less than one-quarter of the wine was fermented in American oak barrels and the wine rested on its a few months prior to bottling giving this Torrontes more structure and finesse. - Community Wine Reviews
