A consistently solid Chilean producer of red wine including this robust Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of black fruit, spice and smoke. Pair with grilled meats. This limited edition robust Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon offers good value at this price point. Polished tannins with a good finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled lamb chops, veal chops, mushroom burgers, pepper steaks.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Made from hand-picked grapes. Dry and smooth, with a dark berry nose and a palate that brings out mint, bell pepper and a touch of smoke.
Tasted Nov. 2016
This Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is the 2014 vintage Limited Edition for which the grapes are hand picked. The vines benefit from a Mediterranean climate The rocky "piedmont" soils also add to the terroir. This is a family-owned winery. Perez Cruz is a family-owned winery. Wine grapes for the 2014 vintage of Limited Edition were hand-picked and the red wine blend is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance in Cabernet Franc. The blended wine was aged over one year in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
